What we do
Infrastructure & reliability
Designing, hardening, and operating systems that stay up. Observability, incident response, capacity, and the unglamorous plumbing that keeps everything else honest.
Backend development
APIs and services built to be maintained, not just shipped. Mostly Python, with Go, TypeScript, and Rust where they earn their place.
Privacy & data handling
Encryption at rest, sensible data minimisation, exports, and handling sensitive user data in a way that holds up to scrutiny - technical and regulatory.
Architecture review
A second set of eyes on a design before you commit to it, or on a system that has grown faster than its documentation. Honest, detailed, no rubber-stamping.
How we work
We take on a limited number of engagements at a time, on purpose. You get focused attention rather than a name on a roster and a junior doing the actual work.
We are direct about trade-offs. If something is a bad idea, we will say so and explain why - we would rather lose an argument than ship a system we know will page someone at 3am.
